The Ron Clark Academy (RCA) is a highly acclaimed, nonprofit middle school located in Southeast Atlanta. The Academy has received both national and international recognition for its successful educational model that embraces passion, relationship building, creativity, and respect. Our fourth–eighth grade students represent various socioeconomic and academic backgrounds.
RCA seeks to extend its reach beyond its student body by having an impact upon students everywhere. Each year, thousands of educators from around the world participate in RCA’s professional development training, the RCA Experience (RCA EXP), to learn how to replicate the school’s style, philosophy, and success in their own schools. RCA is a demonstration school — a place where visiting educators engage in a vibrant professional development experience by observing teachers using best practices in their classrooms before participating in hands-on workshops. Each year, approximately fifteen thousand superintendents, district-level administrators, and teachers participate in RCA EXP and the RCA Signature Series to learn better ways to engage students, promote academic excellence, and create a climate and culture that promotes success.
